Revolution Manqué as the name says is a missed opportunity in reconstructing America effectively even though it produced revolutionary changes. During reconstruction, millions of slaves were freed and granted Civil and Political rights by the constitution, but the promise of racial equality was never fulfilled which makes this a failure. The aims of the war were equality, emancipation and restoration of the Union.
