I have a dream that one day all nations will accept gender equality and women will not be judged based solely on their looks. Both women and men will have equal rights. All women and men will be free to vote, work, speak; movement and all the basic fundamental desires will be free and available to every woman and man of the world.

I have a dream that one day both women and men will be judged equally. Female athletes will get as attention from the mainstream media as male athletes do. Interest in women’s sports will be identical to interest in men’s sports and just as popular. Men will no longer be considered as faster, stronger and more athletic. There will be more sponsorship and media coverage of women’s sports. Media outlets and sponsors will invest more time and money in female athletes and sports.

Women are judged more harshly on their appearance. All women weather short, tall, overweight or thin will be treated with respect and dignity. Women will no longer be taunted about being overweight and develop an eating disorder such as anorexia, nervosa or bulimia.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day women and men will have income equality, women will not earn less than men. Even though women have increased their presence in higher-paying jobs traditionally dominated by men, such as professional and managerial positions, women as a whole continue to work in lower-paying occupations than men do. Some part of the pay gap may also be due to gender discrimination women are about twice as likely as men to say they had been discriminated against at work because of their gender.
