Recommended: Cosmetology history and opportunities

My dream job is to become a cosmetologist. Ever since i was 15 years old i was doing my make-up. cosmetology would let me express my feelings and love to make people feel BEAUTIFUL about their self. It would help me more INDEPENDENT with my life. To me cosmetology is a BRILLIANT idea and others think it’s CRAZY or TERRIBLE because they think people need to look simple and have natural skin. It makes me so ANGRY because if someone want to look pretty let them look pretty and stop DRAMATIC. I’ve always enjoyed looking at people that looked TERRIBLE and when they get they make-up done they come out looking FANTASTIC . For the past year i’ve been teaching myself how to apply SHALLOW make-up on someone face and do leases . I watch youtube videos

Going into the field of Cosmetology helps you express yourself and it brings out your inner creativity. That is one of the many reason I love this line of work, because when I do hair it lets me express myself while creating a hairstyle of my own. The first time I started doing hair was when I was about 10 or 11, I was a natural! I want to be able to know my clients and exactly what will look right on my clients and read people, so I would know what they do like just by talking to them.
