To me, college will play a very important role in my development into an adult as well as allow me to become more independent from my parents and begin to make decisions for myself. Up until college I will have lived in the same house my whole life, and living in a dorm in college and participating in campus activities will be a change that I will get used during my time at a University. I want to continue to participate in sports, volunteering, and leadership opportunities, but mainly college will help me to advance in my education and bring me closer to a career in actuarial science.
