This problem made a lot of awareness. Then laws were created. It started in Great Britain in 1884 to protect our children from maltreatment (Child Abuse World of Health 1). This should be a major problem because kids won’t feel loved they will feel like they are the problem . These laws are important because some kids might be very young, because of this children will not speak out or are too fearful to. It will not solve the problem and it will not be stopped. In 1996, over three million victims of child abuse were sent to child protective services. (Child Abuse World of Health 1). Kids that are getting abused should not be in their parents home the child need to be sent to another home and shouldn't be with their parents. With child protective services we have that. Child protective services are protecting the children making sure the child is safe, happy and nothing can hurt them anymore. Child abuse commonly happens with poor families and little education with drug abusers (Child Abuse World of Health 1) This may happen because parents may go through things and beat their child thinking it's okay when it's not. Then the child will experience another type of abuse, emotional abuse they will deal with rejection, ignoring, criticizing, and isolation (Child Abuse World of Health 1). The child can feel alone feeling like they have no one to go or talk to. This may happen because some parents don't know how to deal with their stress. “The parent could have gone through a divorce or a family death. The parent just doesn't know how to deal with it all” (prevent child abuse 2).
