Deborah Temkin is the bullying prevention manager at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. The article is against bullying and suicide.
What is the issue, conclusion, and reasons for each article?
Issue: Does bullying cause suicide?
Conclusion: Yes it does, the fear of bullying can cause people to commit suicide.
Reasons: Youth problems, bad parenting, abusive parents or family members, bad influences and more.

Bullying is not the only cause of suicide, bully’s and even people who witness bullying are influence to commit suicide.
Do I agree with the assumptions being made for one side or another? Why or why not? Are their assumptions enough to make a strong argument for their position? Why or why not? I agree with the assumptions being made for the prevention of bullying and the prevention of suicides in young people who suffer from this issue. Bullying is a problem that has been around for a long time and it has impacted people’s lives by the tragedies it has given us over the years with suicides all over the world. The assumption are very strong and have very convincing situations.

Most people believe suicide in young people’s lives in caused by bullying and others like Deborah Temkin believe there are other things that are causing bullying.
Do you think many people share this same assumption? People believe the same things that others do because we all have the mentality that is always the same thing or the problem but its not.
Do you think the author (look at their credentials) and/or the publication could be biased? Why? Who is their intended audience? The author’s audience is people who are stuck with the idea that suicide is caused by bullying and the author is trying to convince the audience that it’s not the only issue.
After reading each article and looking at the arguments from both perspectives, what do you think about the issue? Was the argument good enough to support each sides’ actions? Why or why not? The issue makes sense to me because it is true suicide is not only cause by bullying and people should know that for that reason it caught my eye. Because I have witness friend who have committed suicide and nobody ever knew why and people assume it is because they were getting
