Wanting to defend the faith is a valiant cause worthy of respect. It takes long hours of studying and dedication, you need passion and determination for the truth.While every Christian should be well-versed in apologetics, not every Christian should make apologetics their career. Do not view this as a personal attack if it applies to you, I do not intend it as so. Blogging about the Christian faith is my hobby, I don't get paid, Apologetics isn't my career, it's just something I like doing. But if you're considering it as a career, may I humbly recommend you consider these things.

Have a New Insight

Go to seminary, get a degree from an accredited college, or both! Not only will these educational institutions assist you in your knowledge and defense of the faith, it will also open up more opportunities, such as more chances to speak at campuses or in classes to get the biblical views out there in the main circuit of ideas.

Get a Job

If you're unemployed don't spend all your time writing about apologetics. It's a good cause, but you need to get out there and make money and provide for yourself and your family. Apologetics isn't a get rich quick scheme. Go To Church

This is important. We aren't lone wolves, we can't do this alone. You need mentors, you need friends, you need family. The body of Christ is a good family to have. Stay plugged into a good Church.

Actually Read the Bible
In apologetics, you'll find that reading lists can be both exciting and overwhelming. Do not neglect the Bible in this process. I read a lot of books that aren't the Bible and sometimes I neglect the Bible as a result. I highly recommend you not fall into that and make it a habit, because without a solid foundation, you will
