Recommended: Benefits of early graduation

Many parents tend to question if they or their child is ready for early college. They fear their child isn’t mentally or emotionally focused to go off to college by themselves. What they don’t realize is students going to college early bring about better jobs, connections, opportunities, and a better experience. Students may think it’s unfair for some to go to college early and others stay behind, but this could actually separate the students who put in the work and effort to have this opportunity. If able, students should be able to start their lives early at a younger age because it brings about a greater experience. This could get you financially and mentally stable, quicker in your life. This could help you pay off bills faster so you will not be in debt when you get out of college. By being in college early many job would let you start early while you’re in school such as: engineering, medical field, and the mechanical field. This will give you the type of exposure you’ll need to get started and head in the right direction. Students should continue to be challenged all of their years in school. For the parents that don’t think it’s a good idea holding your child back from early college basically is wasting valuable time your child needs to achieve his or her goals. If by continuing to expand your child’s knowledge means to let them take a major step forward by looking into and going into college early, then I think you should take that next step to help prevent regrets, and improve their chances at better quality of …show more content…

By being connected to the right people in the right positions who would be willing to serve as your mentor, you are likely to get more exposure in your field of study, and this can setup you up to move right into a position that you would like to work. Early college will continue to challenge yourself instead of staying in high school just wasting time and hindering your growth when you know that you are ready for a challenge. Being able to go to college early will bring about better job opportunities and show the higher level of maturity of your child.
