Recommended: PC is better than Mac

Im a PC, and Im a Mac
In a world where technology is vastly improving every year, It can be difficult to keep up with the latest gear. Most people want the best of the best when they are making a big purchase, so when buying a new computer it is important to remember to look at the facts and pay less attention to the adds. Manufacturers often slander their competitors, making it difficult to make an educated decision on your next computer purchase. Today there are two types of computer that dominate the market, PC (personal computer) and Macintosh (Mac for short). I am not the first person to compare the two manufacturers, this topic is very controversial with dedicated supporters on both sides. Both machines are incredible, if you compare the latest Macbook Pro or the latest HP Elite to models that came out five years prior, the difference in operating power is astonishing. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, but when you add up all of the facts one is clearly superior to the other.
Operating Systems
` An operating system (or OS for short) is the software that a user will interact with, such as: Windows which utilizes the 'start' option, or OS X which utilizes gestures and the finder option. According to Dictionary.com, an operating system is “The collection of software that directs computers operations”. Windows and OS X are vastly different, and determining what software you favor is one of the most important steps in selecting a new computer, so lets take a look the software that both computers will come with. A new PC will come stock with Windows 8.
