My future goal and aspiration is to become successful in mentally, physically and more ever being educated as best possible. Now I want to become a Pediatrician and I may change my mind probably once or even twice in what I want my career to be. I am a 16 year old teenager who want the best to succeed on the long run. For now, I have set a goal to become a Pediatrician because I love helping kid and teenage to turn their heads into having a great lifestyle. I would like having a job that could impact families, communities or even the world. The word changing can be interpreted in many ways like such like adjustment, switch transformation, but they all have the same meaning.
After high school people go to college. College is the step where they will figure out their life-long job. I’ve always have wanted to go into the medical field, but didn’t know what I wanted to do in it. I decided I would like to to be a pediatric oncologist. A pediatric oncologist is a physician that specializes in pediatrics. Pediatric oncologists receive further training in medical oncology. Pediatric oncologists help kids who are fighting cancer.
The career path that I want to pursue is in the medical field. I major in psychology and minor in biology because going to medical school has always been my desire. Being a pediatrician is my goal I wish to conquer. I am beyond interested and passionate about this career. It is not just a career, it is my life dreams. I want to be able to enjoy going to work every day knowing I love my job and I am here because I want to. Being a pediatrician I am able to work with children and many people of different cultures. I am thrilled to know that I will be capable of caring for sick children.
A career in the medical field is always evolving, and always needing more hands. I knew from a young age that helping people is what I was meant to do, and from then on out every step I took was the way to a successful career in nursing. It is a profession that allows you to see people at their worst, all while helping them become their best. The most important task for nursing students is to create a clear pathway for our education, and to be sure to follow that plan accordingly. When choosing this career, I had to access my own strengths and weaknesses and really establish clear goals for myself and evaluate if I had what it takes to be a part of this diverse and skilled profession. I also decided not only not only do I need to set professional goals for this career, personal goals are important as well.
“By prevailing over all obstacles and distractions, one may unfailingly arrive at his chosen goal or destination.” People have different ideas of what completing a goal looks like, however, we can all agree that it can be hard at times, there will be sacrifices that have to be made and it will not be easy. I am pursuing a career in medicine, specifically pediatric oncology. Medicine is a hard field to go into, the road is long and difficult, but I want to help people and so it is one of my goals. It’s more than just a need to want to help people because many professions help people; I want to help sick people feel better. I want to help families remain together without the loss of a child. I want children to be able to have a future. I am double majoring in human biology and psychology with a minor in Spanish. I plan to go into an MD-PhD program. Rather than staying and working at a domestic hospital, I plan to travel and serve people who otherwise would not receive help. Along with being interested in medicine, I am also interested in women’s right and equality for all races. One of my biggest goals is to help women in the Middle East. Often times women are abused in their homes and are not able to leave; I want to help those women. I want them to be able to seek shelter and I want to help them start a new life on their own or
Children get injured or sick every day, and it doesn’t matter whether the child goes to a doctor or a pediatrician they are still tended to by a pediatric nurse. A pediatric nurse has to have many qualities. They also have to take many different classes. A pediatric nurse’s pay can vary from location to location depending on where they are working. Pediatric nurses must endure many different things to make it into this particular work field, and have many different qualities.
Kids aren’t like adults, their bodies are growing and changing constantly and require specific knowledge to understand. I find it interesting learning about children’s mindsets and how their bodies are different from adults. I have always had a passion for working with kids and anytime that I have gotten an opportunity to be around kids and working with them I take it. I love being able to help kids feel better and to see them develop physically and mentally throughout time. Seeing a kids’ reaction to learning something new or feeling better is a highlight to my day which is why I chose to pursue my career in pediatrics as a pediatric nurse.

A visit to the doctor is never an exciting moment for any child. The thought of syringes with sharp needles, the sight of blood being drawn, and unknown machines creates anxiety. As I waited to see my pediatrician all of these thoughts came to mind, terrified of what she could possibly do to me. I was next to see her, with every step my palms drenched in sweat and my heart raced faster. Expecting the worse, I wondered what she would say about the rash on my back or what she would do about it. When she took a look, she quickly made a diagnosis of pityriasis rosea. Unfamiliar with this skin disorder, I began to think the worst; maybe I caught it from someone or that, it might never go away and I worried it was contagious. My doctor assured me
Since starting this class, introduction to health care, I have begun to think about what the future holds for me and what I will pursue with my college degree. At this point in time my career goal is to become a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery. I plan on working in a hospital setting where I can continue to learn and practice my profession. Five years after all my schooling and achieving my license, professionally I see myself working at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York, which is a teaching hospital. I would be working on and with patients, while still learning as I practice my previous knowledge. I would be seeing patients with injuries such as an ankle sprain, evaluating x-rays, and possibly sitting on and
My desire to become a pediatric or children nurse is something I have being looking forward to since 2013 when studying the basic aspects of health and social care. I am adaptable, caring, confident, responsible, organise, willing to learn, flexible, dedicated, hard working, committed and respectful person who is looking forward to work in the pediatric department of health. However, my passion to become a pediatric nurse has developed greatly through the past three years of studying health and social care. My desire in life is to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a successful pediatrician. Becoming a pediatrician is something that I have always wanted to be ever since I was able to talk. My passion for becoming pediatrician has gotten stronger over the years because I am concerned about the well-being of children. I hate to see them not feeling good. I also hate to see them suffer. After becoming a pediatrician, I definitely plan to travel across the world delivering my services to children to ensure that they are able to live long, productive, and healthy lives free from illnesses even if their family cannot afford it.
As the semester comes to conclusion, I now have clear picture on the direction I want to head after completing my master’s in public health. However, the picture isn’t entirely clear. It seems that the short-term goals are unclouded unlike the long-term goals. Let me elaborate – I know what I am going to accomplish in 5-years, 10-years, and maybe 15-years. However, it’s still unclear how broad I would like to use my public health degrees. After completing the Foundation in Public Health course I was able to gain a deeper understanding for the field of public health, I determined the concentration for the master’s program, and was able to network. These three take-away themes will support my future career/professional goals.
Since the second grade, I have wanted to become a pediatrician. As I get older, my aspiration is only becoming stronger – I love math and science and working with kids. As a soon-to-be youth leader and assistant teacher at my church, I get to interact with young kids at least twice a week, and they never fail to inspire me. They motivate me to keep working towards my career and life goals so that one day I can take care of children who need my help.
Growing up, goals change dramatically. A five-year olds goal is to get the coloring page done. As people go through school, goals obviously change. A freshman’s goal may be to learn the school so he or she doesn’t get lost. Seniors goals grow to finding where they will spend the next four years or what kind of career they will grow upon. In this essay, I am going to talk about how my goals in different aspects of my life and how they have transformed, what they are currently, and what they may turn into in the future.
