By Norine Shaffer Wright

Long ago and far away lived a little boy named Pamadamus. Pamadamus lived with his mother in a lovely cottage at the edge of a beautiful forest. Pamadamus felt that he was the luckiest little boy who ever lived because Mother was always very patient with him and she was quick to give him hugs, cook his favorite meals and fix his favorite snacks.
Upon arriving at Grandmother’s house, he was met at the door with more hugs and kisses and again Pamadamus felt very fortunate to be so cherished by the two people he loved so much. Grandmother led Pamadamus into the kitchen and told him to sit down at the table and she would get him some fresh milk and cookies. While he ate the cookies and drank the milk.
