Human behavior is defined as the response of an individual to its environment. The definition would define human behavior as being nurture rather that nature. Although most people think of themselves as individuals able to make their own choices in respect to behavior, there is often a strong tendency to conform to group patterns and high expectations but, in some cases this behavior leads to insecurity and disappointments and moreover these individuals can develop a fear of failure: as a person, in society but in life in general. The fear of failure can become a very powerful force in each choice we make and each endeavor we undertake. Also I have a fear of heights, of drowning and of several other tangible things. However, I believe that when confronted with those, I will probably be able to deal with them in some form or another. For me, the fear of nonperformance, the fear of failure, the fear of not living up to expectations (my own, more than anyone else’s) is what I consider to be my biggest in life. I can attribute a lot of my personality traits and obsessive behaviors to this fear of failure in life. I have always let my fear of failure and not being good enough to control my life and to keep me from enjoying it. What I need is to believe in my self, in my capabilities and to have good thoughts as well. I 'll change the thoughts of negativity and fear to those of optimism and positivity. Imagining how life will be after you 've reached your goal is a great motivator to keep you moving forward.
Start by taking one small step at a time like taking an extra ten minutes of your day to meditated and come down to terms that you are in the right path and nothing will distracted you from reaching your goals. This meditation I find it extremely helpful to build confidence, keep moving forward, and find peace within yourself to prevent you from getting overwhelmed with visions of your final goal. Our fears of failure can limit us and keep us from living the life we want to. When we inevitably experience rejection or disappointment, we have to be hardy in our way of coping with these struggles. Fear of failure can change people for good or bad. However this isn’t true for all people. Some people accept failure and learn from it so next time they can succeed. I’m kind of a mixture of both.
