The Egyptians and Mesopotamians view of their gods and environment were related which lead to positive and negative relationship between the two.
They believed that the two were related because when the gods were mad then bad things would happen on earth such as flooding fields or ruining crops and this was all the doings of the gods. On the flip side of that however when the gods were happy they would be somewhat kind to the humans by giving them good and healthy crops and providing good fertile soil. “It is his force that gives existence to all things; nothing remains hidden from him. Let men clothe themselves to fill his gardens. He watches over his work, producing the inundation during the night.” This shows that He referring to the Nile is what the Egyptians believe to be their creator and is helping them survive and sustain their civilization in many ways. One example of his well doing is He would flood the land to provide the good soil that has built up on the bottom of the river throughout the year and would disperse it across the land to give them a good space for their agriculture and producing the best crops possible. …show more content…

They believed that the gods were constantly looking out for them and did what they thought was best for them. “This pleased Osiris and he asked further: “And what animal is most useful for the avenger to take with him as he goes out to battle?’’ “A horse,’’ answered Horus promptly. “Surely a lion would be better still?” suggested Osiris. “A lion would indeed be the best for a man who needed help,” replied Horus” This proves that the god Horus picked what he believes to be the best animal for a man in need. That shows the positivity in the relationship between the gods and the humans in Egypt and how they indeed do care for each other, because if Horus did not care he would not have given man any animal to defend himself, nor would he have given him the best
