John, Madison, And Alexander Hamilton

405 Words1 Page

In 1787, federalist papers were written to support the Constitution and to persuade the people against its approval. They discussed why the Constitution was a good thing and how they planned on running the government after its approval. These 84 papers were written by three men, John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton is best known for writing these papers because he wrote 52 essays supporting and defending the constitution. Federalist paper 16 talks about how the thirteen colonies needed to come together and build a strong country rather than individual states. In the paper, Hamilton discusses how most states are willing to accept the Constitution and will go to war against the opposing states to ensure its passing.
