JESUS AS A CHRISTIAN LEADER
Leadership can be defined as leading a group of people or being able to persuade a group of people. Jesus in the Bible is a great example of a leader. In Christianity, Jesus is the ultimate leader and role model in the religion. According to the bible Jesus was sent by God to help and set an example for people around the world. There are several characteristic portrayed by Jesus that can be related to leadership.
First of all, Jesus was able to relate with people that others would not have related to, and he invested in them. For example, they were not a religious elite of people before Jesus recruited them, but he still he used them to start his church and his …show more content…

He made it clear to his disciples that he would not remain on earth forever he would eventually die. By doing this he made his disciples prepared that they would have to continue to carry on the ministry even after the death of Jesus. This is just like a king in Nigeria example, preparing his son to take over the kingdom, after the kings passing. (RE Ron Edmondson).
As a leader in Christianity, Jesus never judged a person based on their sins but would rather try to change their lives for the better. Jesus was not the type to kill an individual for sinning or disobeying Gods commandments. Rather Jesus would beg on behalf of the sinner, like in the case of the harlot in the bible for example. They people of the community were about stunning the woman to death, but Jesus came and stopped everyone and then asked them “whoever is without sin should cast the first stone”.
Jesus was a kind and passionate leader who cared about the lives of people. He was never too violent, he was willing give his life for the sins of the world, he healed people and raised people from the dead, and he was never too proud to approach anybody, whether from the poorest of poor’s or the richest of …show more content…

To Jesus other people’s problems were his priorities. A lot of today’s leaders are self-centered, but Jesus was never selfish. Philosophical egoism did not apply to the messiah (Kimbal). Jesus was good at communicating from a young age. He could communicate with the elderly when he was young, and was not too proud to communicate with children when he was older. Jesus Christ was very humble, as pointed out earlier, in the bible he washed the feet of his own disciples. Only a person with a high degree of humility can come down to his disciples level like that. Jesus was also very confident. He had the spirit of God in him, which gave him more that enough courage to approach any time of problems and still be successful. Jesus was good at delegating duties to his disciples. He knew what everyone was good at. He sent them to minister in different regions, and he also sent some of them sometimes to heal and do
