All over the world, you see different political parties fighting for a chance to govern a country. If you consider the United States Constitution you will find nothing regarding political parties in our system of government. With that being said, I accept the fact that political parties play an important role in our society. The purpose of a political party is to organize a group of individuals who can seek influence in their government's policy, ultimately the goal is winning government power. I believe they are here to bring people from different backgrounds with the same mindset together to act as a bridge between the government and the people.

For people who don’t know it is the republican and democrat parties, there are totally different as you would expect. There are also things the two parties have in common. That people don’t know or recognize. First, there are many different things that are easy to point out. For example, Democrats are associated with blue and Republicans red. Or maybe people can tell the difference between the symbols. For instance, Republicans symbol is an elephant whereas Democrats are the donkey. When doing my research, I found a couple things the two parties agree on or at least put their differences aside for our country. Even though immigration have different parts to it like, deportation and undocumented immigrants the parties put aside their difference for one thing. Deportation has been used and favored for both Democratic and Republican parties. For example, under former president Obama – a democrat- the deportation of undocumented immigrants that didn’t fit under the DREAM Act were deported. The most its ever been by any president before him. While president Trump is in office that number plans to increase if not surprise former president Obama numbers. The last thing I found they had in common was, these parties are doing what they feel is right for this
