Change is to make different, and that is what has happened to me this semester. I have tremendously changed the way I approach writing tasks after this class. Along with that I have grown as a writer, but I still retained some weaknesses. A consequence of this great change will also have a lasting impact on my future. While there are part of this class that greatly assisted me, but I will always feel that I could have been more successful. Overall, this class will have changed me as a writer forever.
The way I approach writing has changed greatly over the course of this semester. In the beginning of the year I didn’t particularly like writing and I approached it with contempt. I would put off writing until the last second, which consequently made my writing less than par. I was also not confident in my skills in conventions. This class helped me start early and gave my confidence. To say this class completely overhauled my approach to writing would be a lie, but I will say that I have a tremendously easier time approaching a paper. …show more content…

In the beginning of the year I had a very poor understanding of conventions. I would make a plethora of simple mistakes consequently making my writing substantially worse. To make matters worse, I also didn’t like writing. However, this class changed that and now my understanding of grammar has increased greatly. To compensate for my lack of technical knowledge, I generally have strong ideas, and I can creatively portray my ideas to my readers.
