Stricter Gun laws

“Man with gun!” The words from a police radio can become an adrenaline rush to police officers who might be thinking at that moment questions like; why is the man openly carrying a gun? Is he a terrorist trying to cause harm? A person who’s depressed and wants to commit suicide? The person who’s obtaining a firearm could be any of those or something entirely different. Weapons are deadly when people use it in a desperate stage of mentality that can cause havoc as the person loses control slowly with realization. Gun control laws should be stricter because it can prevent future school shootings, easy reach from people who aren 't supposed to have a firearm and improve the NICS. To get back to the point, gun laws should be stricter because it’s dangerous to have kids who have accesses to firearms within reach. My topic will also focus on mass shooting that have recently occurred in America and how that person got his or her weapon from. The only way to reduce those rates from rising even higher is by using and enforcing stricter laws. Gun control is frequently one of the first methods considered by cities and large urban areas as a way to slowly help stop the crime rate from increasing. Two well know cities that have applied the gun control laws in the United states at a more stricter level than federal and state statutes are Los Angeles and Washington D.C. Los Angeles (Rosenthal). California is known and also documented as having big problems with gang activity and gun violence for the past several decades. Washington D.C has been well known for being one of the notorious cities with the most homicides and murders ever since the late 1980’s
