Imagine yourself as a student waiting in a long lunch line. When you finally sit down to enjoy your delicious meal, then the sound of the lunch bell rings and everyone departs to their next class. Every student in Conroe High School should be able to enjoy their meal without feeling rushed. Because of this, students believe it is a great idea to extend the lunch period. It will give students a longer time to eat, socialize, and it will give students a break from classes.

First Lady Michelle Obama, felt that too many American kids are overweight, so she thought she needed to make our school lunches healthier, with more fruits and vegetables. They are also wanting more local farmers to be involved, and give more of the food they grow to the school.
