Introduction Morality and ethics are an important aspect every business must follow strictly but how each decision or punishment is taken will depend on the current situation (Van Oosterhout et al. 2006). By analysing the case study it is clear that the company is expecting to hold an important board meeting in a few days and Paul is expected to be making and important presentation during the meeting. Managing the Situations Fred has made an important and right choice by consulting the IT manager and informing his regarding the misuse of company equipment and resources. This has helped the IT manager understand the situation and would be responsible for discussing the concerns with the Paul. But with the approaching board meeting the IT manager is best of follow Utilitarianism to help cater to all stake holders needs (Driver 2009). This is because there are underlying factors linked to the situation which require to be considered to prevent affecting the organizations operations.
