Cars; Robots or Roadsters Have you ever been in a car accident? If you have you are probably still figuring out what was going on, or how that could ever happen to you. You probably even wished that your driving reflexes, could have been better. What if it wasn’t your fault? What if it was your cars? What would have happened if you weren’t even touching your steering wheel and you, crashed. But you weren’t touching the wheel, and it’s 2020. How could that happen. Supposedly, within the next couple years, that scenario would be a reality. This will all be possible due to the fact that technological advancements are happening faster than you could say, “OMG!!!!” That is only the beginning! At this rate car technology and technological advancements, …show more content…
The fancy electric car people dreamed of in the 1980’s is no longer fiction. It’s non-fiction. It’s a reality. Have you ever heard of “Tesla?” The car company that is well known for its technological advancements in the electric car industry? They have developed three different, massed produced electric cars. That already have stations to charge the “car” all over the continental United States. On top of that, they are slowly starting to get cheaper than petroleum based automobiles. Slowly but surely their prices are starting to drop, lower, than you might expect. Here as a society, we should already be worried. For this is just simply the beginning of some tangent, that we might not be able to …show more content…
How long until they are out of our control and put into an ongoing chain of broken realities. Since the electric-cars are also starting to be safer than most cars. These cars, specifically from Tesla, have no gasoline(a petroleum based compound) in them that will make them go. They don’t need any carbon based chemical, if they can function on an all electricity based system. Which means they don't have a internal combustion chamber, exhaust pipe, or any of an spill of excess fuel. According to Tesla, their cars are the, “...Quickest acceleration. Longest range. The safest cars ever.” (Tesla, 2018)They are saying their cars are the best. They are the most efficient cars, plus they run solely on electricity. Not only do they run on electricity, they have a flexible, reinforced robust, but firm frame. What's cool is, that if your car gets hit, lets say, a head on collision. If you had a gas car, your motor would be destroyed along with the whole front frame of the car. But if you had a Tesla, your car would be just little dented, but still functionable. Due to its impact resistant, compound frame. It's just already is out performing, those wretched gasoline cars. But if that's not all these cars can have, these cars have one of the state of the art safety systems as a default. They have what's called a, “Side Collision Warning” that avoids collisions, with fast-approaching vehicles. They also have an “Emergency Braking
The future American commuter will undoubtedly have to transition from the use of fossil fuels to new alternatives due to the diminishing availability of the nation’s oil resources. How will America respond to this upcoming issue? It is difficult to predict which alternative fuel source America will ultimately choose, but with the premier of Nissan’s electric powered Leaf and other companies; such as Tesla Motors and Chevy, with their electric cars ready for market, the electric car may be winning the race to become the new standard for the gasoline alternative. Electric cars resolve long standing environmental issues, but it will need to maneuver around many roadblocks to become a marketable consideration for the general public. The cost of electric cars, currently on the market, makes them an impractical purchase for the average consumer. If cost is not the growing concern in today’s economy which prevents the consumer from considering this option; they may deny the technological advance due to battery storage capabilities and the inadequate infrastructure in place to refuel and provide for them.
Environmental concerns have been raised from time to time because of the dependency on the gasoline-fueled engine as the chief auto powertrain technology. This has resulted in exposing many automobile users to unpredictable prices of fuel. These issues were, however, the reason for the inception of Tesla Motors so as to bring into existence another set of automotive which serves the similar purpose; but uses another form of energy that being electricity to drive them instead of the disadvantageous gasoline-powered engine. This invention was influenced by a number of factors in terms of their planning and performance (Hunger, 2010).
Imagine that you’re driving on an open highway in the middle of summer. All you see in front of you is asphalt for miles and miles. The windows are down and your favorite song comes on the radio. You’re behind the wheel of a Tesla Model S, the newest electric car that can go from zero to sixty miles per hour in 2.4 seconds. This will soon be the future of all motor vehicles. Electric cars are beginning to have colossal impacts on our society because of their energy efficiency, performance benefits, and the fact that they are less harmful to the environment. In the near future, electric cars will dominate the road and eventually the planet’s overall need for oil will decrease immensely.
I have ridden in a fully electric car. It can only drive for about an hour and a half, but rides so smoothly it's almost like gliding – it's wonderful. Which leads me to consumers' preferences. In this day and age, people want highly efficient cars, that don't guzzle more gas than
When we look at what US businesses have done over the last hundred years we can see that we have been at the forefront of most industries and have reaped the rewards for doing that. But when it comes to renewable energy we are far behind many nations such as Japan, China, and Germany for example. The US failed to seize the renewable energy market when US businesses had the chance and we have suffered the consequences. So when it comes to the electric car industry we cannot let our companies take a back seat to other nations instead we must do everything in our power to put our companies in the driver's seat of this new industry. I would like to begin by defining a few key terms.
Tesla has managed to build a notable brand name for itself not in the electric car market, but in the overall automotive industry. Its brand performance offers a robust, reliable and unique image that gives customers the satisfaction that electric cars can be stylish, reliable, hassle-free and much less bulky than internal combustion engine vehicles.
Today there are new technologies invented for people comfortable and helping the world. The Electric car is one of the new technologies that invented for decreasing pollution in the world. This helps the world by decreasing the usage of fossil fuels and natural gas. If people all turn to use the electric cars, then gasoline and natural gas are not needed anymore. So people will not pay taxes and fuel charges to gas stations or government.
Electric Cars Win Over Gas - Powered Cars Did you know that Cars were seen as the “green” alternative of transportation in the early 20th century because horses were causing so much pollution with their poop. Well, now we know that the poop is not a problem. In a way, it actually helps. The problem is cars, to be more specific, gas-powered cars. For a long time, I wanted to say that we should get electric cars instead of gas-powered and why, and that day is today.
United States Presidents have been continuously calling for the decline in consumption of fossil fuels for about past forty years. This paper analyzes two types of cars in different prospects and shows that the electric cars are the potential solution of the problems linked with fossil fuels and its combustion. The existence of electric cars has a long history dating back to the appearance of the first hybrid in 1972. However, the first electric vehicles have been built far before the first hybrid car. About 28% of 4192 cars produced in U.S. in the beginning of 20th century were powered by electricity.
It is not everyday an engineer can change the world, but every time he tries something good will come out of it, not necessarily what he wanted, but new technologies will be discovered. Oil is something that mankind cannot always rely on; it will come to an end. In fact, by 2040 production levels will be down to about 20% of what is currently consumed ("When Will”). Why are the automotive companies not providing better electric car options, what makes that so difficult? Is it the charging time, the efficiency?
Electric Cars: An Alternative for Fossil Fuel Use When the topic “climate change” comes to mind, we don’t often think about how we are contributing to the cause, but rather blame somebody else, or even the world for it. There’s something being done about climate change, since some countries are switching to renewable energy, like Sweden, Germany, etc., but if the top polluting countries aren’t doing something to contribute to the cause, then the other countries’ efforts are diminished. Even though climate change has been an ongoing issue for decades, Canadian journalist and activist, Naomi Klein discusses in her novel This Changes Everything that we have yet to realize its full impact “[a]s [early] as 2007, [when] climate change was something
With the instability and fluctuation of gas and petroleum prices, electric cars will obviously save consumers money in their fuel budgets. Gas prices have risen within the last 10 years, at one point to over $4.00
As the decade of the 2010’s is coming to a close, the advent of new technologies puts on display the great wonders the human race can accomplish. One of these accomplishments is the slow advancement of the electric cars and its introduction into society. The rise of Tesla cars and Elon Musk’s addition to the market as a whole has successfully brought electric vehicles into the mainstream, with the general public and governments seeing it as an appropriate alternative to gas vehicles. Critics have many problems with electric vehicles and question their practicality. But, nearly all problems can be counteracted with comprehensive answers.
Just about everyone wants a car but no one Wants to pay for gas well now thanks to technology we don’t have to yes thanks to the discovery of the electronic car people can travel solely on the power of electricity but most people say that Unless some new type of battery is invented these electronic Car are nothing more than a dream but these are far more than a dream and very much so a part of reality But what does the future hold for these cars
There is no doubt that electric cars are the most appealing from of transportation in the world. They provide two of the most important key points of good transportation: reliable and efficient. They are reliable due to their simplicity of their power trains and the advancement of technology they have. They are efficient because they don't use any gasoline and because their motors can pass the zero-emission standard. Even though they may seem like a boring form of transportation, they offer good features that help keep the Earth's air clean and they help reduce pollution.
