Many manufacturers are developing new technologies for cars to keep them environmentally friendly and effective.
At that time what led to alternative fuels was a better way to make vehicles work better, but what truly led to the development of alternative fuels was to prevent global warming from happening. They are needed to produce less emissions and improve the world`s climate. If in the world the use of conventional fuels keeps growing eventually it could lead to global warming and hurt the planet and harm lives because those gases that conventional fuels release are not good to inhale. The question that is being asked by everyone is if alternative fuels serve their purpose and are they worth it. Some people might see alternative fuels important and some do not care, but they should because they serve their purpose in improving climate and producing fewer emission levels.

These two are almost alike but since their properties are different the properties are what’s going to make or break them in being the better of the two alternative fuel. And while these two fuels have been used very little before by the automotive industry. The recent government mandate of having vehicles to be at least 54 mpg by 2025 has made the automotive industry rethink that maybe compress natural gas and propane could be the way. And the demand for it has grown. I mean it’s used for homes and power why not try to put the effort into actually making it work for automobiles as well.
Statement of Research problem Fossil fuel vehicles have been identified as one of the main causes of some environmental problems, and the global initiatives is to eradicate greenhouse gas emissions. One way of achieving this goal is replacing conventional petrol/diesel vehicles with electric driven vehicles. However, the launch, commercialisation and consumer acceptance of Electric Vehicles (EV) has been hindered by range anxiety. Nevertheless, in taking advantage of newly developed means of energy regeneration with an intelligent energy management system, environmental issues as well as Range-ability issues could be solved with little or no additional cost. Background to the research problem Range anxiety is the fear that a vehicle battery has insufficient power to cover the range of its destination and would thus strand the vehicle's occupants (Tate,Harpster,&Savagian,2008).This term, range anxiety, which is primarily used in reference to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), is considered to be the major barrier to the large scale adoption of all-electric cars(Parsons, 2011).

The electric car seems to be the best candidate as a replacement for the moment, but many people are still weary about completely discarding the trusty internal combustion engine for an invention barely as old as the people who will buy them. The electric fuel is promising, but it has not been around long enough to undergo the test of time needed for mass acceptance. Here the more direct question arises: is the electric car the solution to a more economically responsible car? Being a member of the future generation of innovators and leaders, I feel that this research combined with my fascination of automobiles could lead to a clearer understanding of how I can help improve the automobile. In a world that is highly connected by roads, if the problem of using petroleum-based fuels is not solved, the entire gas-guzzling world could come to a standstill.
