Going up I always pictured myself being a teacher. Now growing up some more I don't exactly want to be a teacher. I don't want a job where there is a lot of meetings and having to deal with naughty kids or picking up messes. I do want a job where I have to be around kids but doing business type of work. That is what I grew up around and I think some of it would be fun. After taking a few career tests I have found out that I am conventional, social, enterprising. I feel like these tests were accurate because I have taken many of these tests the past couple years and they all have been close. They all chose careers within the business field. A social worker is someone who likes working with others to help them learn and grow. They like teaching, giving advice, and help and being a service to others. A conventional workers interests like work that follows set procedures and routines. They prefer working with information and paying attention to details rather than working with ideas. A veterinary technician is someone who help vets treat and care for animals. I would like this because I love animals, but just don't want to be doing the surgeries to them. Dental assistants help dentists as they treat patients. They perform many duties, from cleaning equipment to taking x-rays. If i would do this job as my profession I would want to do children because I love being around children. Nurses care for patients in hospitals, schools, and other health care settings. Some teach other nurses or do medical research. I would like this job again if it was with children and I love helping people.
