The career and specific position that I am looking to one day hold is that of a Human Resource Manager. I love working in a office setting, especially the set schedule that working in a office provides. I also like interacting with other people and solving problems. But I do not always love working with the general public and since a human resource manager mostly works with internal co-workers and clients I feel this career will suit me well. Human resource managers require customer service skills in every aspect of their job. This same job requirement also requires the human resource manager to actually listen to the person talking. Without actually listening to the person talking it is entirely possible for the human resource manager to miss a crucial detail in being able to fully get to the bottom of the expressed concern and then of course find the solution. The humans resource manager also needs the ability to see things from other people's perspectives. For example, when establishing a in house training program the human resource manager needs to view the peoples jobs from their perspective, taking into account the hours they work, which programs they use and which other departments they interact with and when. If I were trying to create a universal group webinar time I would not plan it when half the departments are out to lunch or when only department heads are in a meeting. If I did that I would be excluding tons of people. This also falls into diplomatic skills as well. Employees want to be treated fairly and it is not fair to expect one person to do something and not another. By not having the department heads in the webinar I could possibly be showing that those managers
