In society, in order to achieve great knowledge of a desired profession one must take a step to higher learning. There’s an overwhelming difference between high school and college, but at the same time a few similarities a lot of people can agree upon. Leaving the birds nest is a phrase all too many people know very well. Families may be far away or close by, but the student gets a chance to actually live on their own. No more curfews, having a roommate, going out with friends, staying up as late as anyone wants, and napping whenever is what freedom feels like. In college a lot of classes are humongous. Anyone would be lucky enough to know at least 5 people’s names, including the professor. Many may converse with one another throughout the entire semester and still never be sure of what the other person’s name is. One of the down sides of college is paying for expensive books. There are used and new books, but either or is money out of the pocket. Every downside has an upside though. Every single game, gym equipment, and arcade game is free. Planning a schedule for certain times to take a class is amazing. The student has the power to decide for themselves now. Working around their hours depending on what time they want to wake up, study for a class, or has a job can all be handled at a click of a button. Unlike, high school where everyone complained about being there, College is a place where people actually want to attend if they had not applied to go themselves.
