Comparing college to high school is like comparing a fish to a bird. They are both animals, but both have great differences. Some people say that college is supposed to be the best time of your life, while others say that high school was. I believe that it just depends on what you did during both. For some, the freedom of college was the greatest thing, and for others the freedom was awful because they were so used to their parents being right by them when they needed something. The differences of college and high school are almost as broad as the similarities between these two great times in a person’s life.

College has way more people than high school so different groups will show up. In high school, people flock to the cool kids that have all new gadgets and expensive clothing and in college the kids are very poor and just want to save money, so they don’t mind what they wear. While in college, most people will wear whatever because they don 't care what other people think of them, while in high school, it 's all about doing whatever the most cool kids are doing. In both college and high school, you will make friends that you will have for life. In some cases, kids will find the group that fits them the best in high school instead of college and will stick with that group throughout college. Even though the differences between college and high school are broad, the same statement could be made about the similarities between the two. Both levels of schooling have their positives and negatives. People should learn to enjoy both levels because they only come once and you only get one chance to live each one. The experience you could get in both levels could be the greatest of people 's lives. Go out and live
