My career choice is to be a registered nurse because I am good with people and work well with all types. Registered nurses generally have good incomes and usually have job opportunities anywhere in the world. My goal in life is to become a registered nurse and these are the three colleges I am researching: University of Florida, The Ohio State University, and University of South Florida.
My first college choice is University of Florida because it would be nice to go away for that experience. The tuition for graduates or undergraduates living on campus costs a lot more than living off campus. They offer eight-teen scholarships, thirty or more athletic or extracurricular activities, and the enrollment is $6,270. There are over thirty majors offered, the one I am interested in is the nursing program. The financial aids they can offer are scholarships, student loans, fellowships, and financial assistance. The students must have at least ten credits per semester.
The Ohio State University is my second college choice because I could still go away to college but be closer to my family. It would also be a good choice because I would still be in my home state and the tuition would cost less. The tuition for a single student is around $44,215. There are about thirteen scholarships offered, about sixty athletic and extracurricular activities, and they have over 175 majors are offered. Students must have ten credits per semester. The financial aid that is offered is Direct Subside Loans, Direct Unsubsidized Loans, Direct PLUS Loans, scholarships, and, student loans.

Lastly, University of South Florida is my third choice because it’s not as expensive as University of Florida but I could still move away for a while. Registered nursing would be a great career for me because I am good with people. I would like to work in neonatal (NICU) because I like taking care of babies. There are always jobs available in any state or country, which would be a great opportunity to travel, along with a good pay scale.

...Selecting a college to attend was a lengthy process. I applied to four different schools. I outweighed all the pros and cons of each college. The ultimate goal was to persevere and graduate with a degree. As a high school student, I think I found Ohio State appealing because of all the hype that surrounded it. Once I came to the conclusion that I wanted to go into the medical field, I realized that I needed to be in an atmosphere where I could maintain my focus. Nonetheless, the most consequential influencing factor was regarding finances. Case was extremely expensive but I received a substantial amount of financial help compared to Ohio State. In addition, I was fortunate to obtain a work study job that helped with living expenses. I knew that college would not be easy especially given Case’s reputation. In the end, I am confident I made the correct decision.
For the longest time I could not decide on a major and a career to study throughout college. When I came to Georgia Southern University I discovered that they had a major that was very interesting to me. Sport Management id the ideal major for my interest and me. Since I love sports I figured that this would be the career for me. A degree in Sport Management helps to prepare for success in sport related occupations.
Going to college is a big step in a young person’s life. That is why when going to college; one should know which college they would like to go to. For me personally, the college of my dreams is Louisiana State University. The top three majors at Louisiana State University are Biology, Biomedical engineering, and Business. The main reason I want to go to Louisiana State University is because of their amazing biology department .The main things that caught my attention about Louisiana State University, was how flexible I could be with my money, it isn’t that hard to apply and the admission process is pretty doable, and the campus life is interesting with many clubs and organizations that I could join.
It is located in Chicago, Illinois. The required ACT score is between 31 and a 34 composite score. There is no GPA requirement, but you have to be in the top 10% of your class. The University of Chicago is best known for is school of medicine, which is very compelling to me. The tuition is about $44,178 per year. And the meal plan plus housing is about $14,715 a year. Totally roughly $58,893 a year. The University does offer financial aid to students . The University of Chicago offers division one sports. They offer two sports that i found interesting, Women’s tennis and track and field. The atmosphere of the school is both scholarly and challenging. The University of Chicago compares well to my ideal college.
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to attend UNC Chapel Hill. The only problem with going to a big university is the money and maintaining a certain grade point average. Chapel Hill is located near Raleigh, Durham which takes approximately four hours to get there from my house. I found out that “UNC is the only school on the list to meet 100% financial aid.” Knowing that they meet financial aid 100% almost makes me think I have a chance on going to Chapel Hill. According to college stats in-state tuition would be approximately $5,340; however, out of state tuition wo...
I am currently planning to attend Richland Community college and graduate as a registered nurse. The reason I chose this career is because helping out others has always driven me forward. I want to study something that I know I will be content doing for the rest of my life and registered nursing is the right choice. Being a nurse has a many perquisites, but my choice has nothing to do with the advantages that it will provide me with. It is more about the fact that I have the chance to make people who are ill feel better and also to hel...

As I have stated before, I have had no singular experience that has led me to the career choice of nursing. I had a natural inclination towards the profession, and as I pursued this inclination, I grew more and more passionate about nursing. Each day, I wholeheartedly put my determination to be a nurse into everything I do. Nursing is more than a career choice to me; it is a privilege for me to share my compassion with human beings. Stony Brook University School of Nursing will allow me to receive the best education, allowing me to impact others in the most profound way possible.
Many people have a difficult time making a career choice. Some people enjoy being outside working, while others love to be inside sitting behind a desk or behind a counter. One career that interests me the most is nursing. The particular field of nursing that I am interested in is a registered nurse. There are four important factors to consider when going into the field of nursing: job requirements, level of pay, education, and job availability.
My personality also includes being hard-working, which is a helpful tool as it takes very good grades and a bachelor's degree or higher to get to my career goal. As I have hit sophomore year, I have specified my career choice a little bit more and decided to become a neonatal nurse. Helping people, especially children, is my passion and has been for quite some time now. The next step would of course choosing the right college for my personal needs and wants.
A typical junior or senior in high school is faced with a dizzying array of choices in choosing a college. Questions such as "How much is tuition." "Is there housing on campus," and "What standardized tests do they accept." are all valid and relevant. Fortunately, asking these types of questions often narrows a broad swath of potential colleges down to a small few. With that in mind, I chose a university that seemed to suit my needs, and I applied. Since I was accepted, I did't need to apply anywhere else. I was all set for the "college experience", life at the big U. Or so I thought.
Nursing has been a long time childhood dream. Some may choose nursing for so many other reasons, for me nursing is my passion and I believe I have a caring personality which is a key point of nursing. Coming from a country that had been in a civil war for long since I was a little child, and growing up in that kind of situation, seeing everyday people die for even minor things because of no doctors or nurses available, left me with deep sadness and wanting to make difference in the lives of so who are in need. This experience had planted in mea caring natures that I want to make use of it. Coming to America has made my dream of becoming a nurse come true. I was able go to college while having a family as well. I have always admired what nurses do for their patients. Doctors only see patients for few minutes but nurses stay with patients 24, 7 therefore; physicians only make diagnosis while nurses heal the patient.
