A high school teacher is one of the many careers that are available after graduating from a college or university with a certain degree. Following this career is not as easy as many would think; it requires a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve the goal of becoming a teacher. Being a high school teacher has its perks but it also has responsibilities like any other type of career. What people mostly want to know before becoming a high school teacher is what they do, how many hours they would have to work, and what their salary would look like.
Many people think about a high school teacher as an easy job that does not require much work or effort, but they are wrong. “Just because teachers don’t spend their summers in the classroom doesn’t mean their job is easy.” (Edudemic).
