... using the internet and Google to make learning an interactive, engaging, and a knowledgeable experience for our students. The main reason why we use the internet on a day-to-day basis is for the ease of use. Keeping things simple is what attracts us to many things in life, so why not incorporate simplicity in the classroom? Student’s already use the internet for many things including research, so the way they act and behave toward it in the classroom would not be surprising to any student because of its familiarity. Peter Brophy states “Google is very straight forward. You put in your desired word and it searches a vast database of information making it simple not confusing” (Brophy 8). The internet has changed the way we accomplish many things in life especially in the classroom, so you cannot help but think what else is there to do to become a smarter brainiac.
