There should be objectives on how to reduce the amount of sodium in the fast food chain restaurant. For example there should be a special menu for the people who want to eat and live a healthier life. There should be a mission, and it should strive to have the best menu for people in the market place, so the people can have the experience of the best fast food, and the company will gain success and credibility with a great reputation. The keys to a successful company are to create a unique innovation with an entertaining menu that differentiates them from the rest of the competition. It is important to control cost at all time. The goal is to reduce sodium and for people to live healthier lives and to ensure there is an effective control on cost. Control cost is design to determine what the maximum price can be.
Providing 100% satisfaction to the customers and maintaining the level of excellent. Most of the people are eating fast food because of working parents or for whatever the reasons are. This is call convenience, Fast food always has a strategy because they know people have busy lives, and fast food is convenience for this segment of people. Location is another strategy, the geographic of the restaurant mean being in an area where the most traffic is flowing. Keeping the restaurant open at late hours is a convenient for families who are working late and don’t want to cook after work, especially the one that like to purchase fast food on the go.

...also be good. Most of all the children will get an education through the toys that will be provided with the meal. This will reduce the rate of obesity. All children live to play, so the in grounds play ground would be something they will love.
This would give parents some down time while the children play. Most of all, the reason for this strategy is to reduce high blood pressure that can lead to strokes, heart attacks, and kidney disease. It make take some people getting use to eating this type of diet but once they realize this will be better for them in the long run. People will not cook at home anymore and technology will be more advance and robots will be running the restaurant. If this take place people will be out of jobs, but with this menu people will start living healthier lives, and this chain relations will have a great impact on public relations.
There should be limit’s that stop’s food companies from promoting themselves as appealing when in reality their food products are a hazard to our bodies. As Barboza states in his article “There is a need to set specific standards on what is marketed to children…” we are in agreement that, what ever kids see on T.V. or being marketed, they want it! As a child I remember that I wanted many things I saw on T.V. like Carl's Jr, Lucky Charms, Mcdonald's, Gushers, ect… When eating these food products, as you get older it affects your health. A good
Due to the fact that they want a cheap meal that will fill them up, they will go with the fast food restaurant. In a video titled "The Dollar Menu," a family shows that a piece of fruit can and will cost more than a burger from the dollar menu, candies, or even sodas and they blame their busy schedule for their lack of healthy choices. The father in the video has diabetes and their concerned that their youngest daughter may get it as well since they mostly eat fast food meals. The family says not only are the healthy foods more expensive, but they don’t fill them or their kids up. The family struggles on income and finds that fast food is the cheapest way to feed their family. Fast food affects your energy levels, liver, heart, and can lead to diabetes. These fast food restaurants make it incredibly easy for this family to get food and not spend a great amount of money. The reason fast food is so cheap is because it’s unhealthy, and they don’t care what they are doing to people’s health; they just want the money. Fast food restaurants are killing the
Due to false advertising, I feel that certain food companies are being careless in trying to make people buy their products in order to make money in the quickest way possible. My only suggestions for this situation are either the companies to tell the truth about their products, or stop advertising completely. If the companies could spend more time researching the effects of their products, then they could make improvements to their foods or maybe find alternatives to the ingredients. That way people can make the right decisions in buying what is best for them and their children. Thank you for your time.
This concedes that now America is creating health issues from consuming unhealthy foods. According to, “The battle against fast food beings in the home”, by Daniel Weintraub, “Kids eat unhealthy food and sit in front of the television or computer for hours at a time”. The article states that now obesity has affected many kids in America. Due to obesity affecting many kids in America the argument here is that, parents are not thinking about their child’s health and how it affects their body. Their main worry if the food is cheap and that it’s reasonable to buy for their family; which is understandable. Thus, many kids health are in danger from the lack of a nutritious diet. At the same time, fast food companies believe that it’s not their fault. According to Daniels Weintraub’s article, it states that “ It’s the parents, not the government, not the fast food companies who are responsible for teaching kids unhealthy habits” (Weintraub 1). The argument here is that parents need to try to feed their kids much healthier diets such as vegetables. Feeding them fast food is going to wreck their health. For this reason, fast food companies should try to sell healthier food for a reasonable price. Having produce companies sell more affordable fruits and vegetables will clear this problem. This will allow people who don’t have much money be able to provide a healthy dish
From cartoon and sports to having the toys in meals in a huge display and lowered. There are even advertisements that trick adults. They are convincing, but it can all be stopped with just simple reminders that it’s not real or it’s not good to have this in your body. These reminders can help America become less obese and more health conscious and can even affect the way children think as they grow up surrounded by them. The United States is slowly increasing its awareness of the condition that it is in by companies improving foods and people paying more attention to the nutrition’s in foods. Also many food companies have died down on television advertising for kids, but it is still found in other expressed ways. While it is okay to advertise the question of is it okay to advertise to children is still not answered. It all depends on the consumers what is right and wrong and how to approach each product. Obesity from these products can be cured by hard exercise, but this is not recommended for children. It is more efficient for children to just eat healthy as they are still growing each day. So the next time an ad pops up on the screen and that little girl or boy is focused on it try to explain to them by reading the ingredients or the nutrition label why they should not eat it often. With small steps like these children
From the advancement in technology, food preparation has changed over the twentieth century from food mainly being cook and prepared in a home setting to now mainly being prepared and served through lines of a fast food restaurant. With people on the move from place to place and having a busy schedule, people now rely on fast food restaurants for main course meals. Even though fast food has provided food for people with a low income or no money at all, fast food still have processed food, preservatives, and filters that can cause cancer and other harmful effects.
Fast food outlets actually have been existed from millennia in China, India and ancient Europe. In the past, many people cannot afford to have a kitchen and this becomes the main reason they buy their food in fast food outlets (Reverse Your Age, 2013). The perception of fast food started to change in twentieth century. The first company that change the culture and perception of fast food was McDonald’s, followed by their future competitors such as KFC, Burger King, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Subway. As they get a good appreciation from the customers followed by the impact of the globalisation, almost all of the fast food companies have been expanded their restaurant chain in many nations (Wojtek, 2013). Nowadays, with our busy life schedule and the increasing trend where women entering workforce promote an opportunity for the fast food industry to grow bigger. We can see the significant growth from the fast food industry as the industry itself has been generated over $160 billion in 2012 compared to their revenue in 1970 which only around $6 billion (Franchise Help, n.d.). With this significant growth, it does not mean that every company in this industry are successful. Some company has to closed some of their stores due to the lack of environmental research and preparation in entering a new country which commonly lead to the poor selling rate. The deeper explanation and points that is mention below will be also represent as the industry current state.
The below are the most appropriate methods to boost profitability of a fast food restaurant.
Kids would have no other choice but to eat the food that is set before them. However, there are various ways for a kid to get the credit for Physical Education in today’s schools; ROTC, Dance, even Marching Band. Many would argue that those are not the equivalent to playing a sport such as Football, Soccer, Basketball, or Powerlifting and they would be right. These requirements need to be altered so that it is fair and beneficial to all students. I believe that most students at a young age should be involved inside of a sport, if not they will write it off as them not being as athletic as other kids and will turn to sitting on the couch. Instead they need to force kids to be in some type of sport at a young age and force them to get involved and stay active. Most American Parents would say “But why must my kid be forced to play a sport that he hates all of his life?” as a Rebuttal. This solution isn’t permanent. This is simply to get kids up and involved at a young age and keep them active. If they truly do not like the sports that are available, in the high schools a basic Physical Education course should be offered. One that actually gets the kids up and active. I’ve seen too many PE classes with kids just walking around a gym. They need to be up playing dodgeball, running, and playing catch otherwise it is meaningless. As Michelle Obama, Current First Lady and Dean of dean
They need their service to be in “an arm distance”, which means the convenient location helps customers save time, traveling costs. For the fast food chain companies, locating the branches to reach customers becomes a positioning strategy. CHANGING PREFRECE depends vastly on the fast food menu. For example, we can mention SALAD. Now salad was never considered as a part of the fast food menu.
Subway is an American fast food restaurant franchise founded by Fred DeLuca and Peter Buck in 1965. Throughout the years, the company has gained substantial amount of growth in franchises and has become one of the largest single-brand restaurant chain in the world. Subway continues to display fierce commitment to provide a wide range of taste, healthier food choices while considering environmental footprint and creating a positive influence in the communities they serve. The objective of this report is to investigate and identify how Subway competes in the market through identifying the main performance objectives and examining the measures implemented within the operation, in order to maintain their desired level of performance. It will explore
First, fast food and home-cooked meals differ in the time. The people choose fast food because they do not have time to prepare a proper meal and it can be prepared very quickly. Jekanowski, Binkley, and Eales (2001) claimed that fast food outlets’ main sales point is convenience. The fast food companies open a lot of branches in the different area so that the customers just need a few minutes to buy a set of fast food even it is complete with a drink.
As a little girl I loved watching television shows on Saturday mornings. I’d get upset when a show would proceed to commercial. That is until I watched the shiny new toy being played with by the girl my age and of course the cool new one that came into the happy meal, then I’d forget. After seeing the appealing commercial I’d run to my mom and try to slickly mention it. “You know McDonalds has a new Monster’s Inc. toy in their happy meal. Isn’t that great? “Now I realize that back then I was targeted by big companies to beg my parents for things that I didn’t need or that wasn’t good for me in order to make money. Advertising today is affecting the health of today’s children because they eat the unhealthy foods advertised to them on: television, the internet, and even at school. Therefore, an impassioned discussion of possible solutions has been brewing.
“We need to teach our children to eat real food. No fast foods. No junk foods. No processed foods. Just honest, nutritious, real food.” As the years go by many more people are becoming obese because they consume too much fast food. People need to get in habits to cook at home rather than eating out everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. People in this world are now always trying to look for the easy way out of things. Eating out at a fast food restaurant is not a healthy meal to eat. We the people need to avoid the fast food restaurants and stop being lazy and have home cooked meals everyday. Although fast food is convenient for everyone, it causes obesity and consuming too much fast food can lead to type 2 diabetes.
Its just easier for them to go out and buy food whether its during lunch or after a long day at work. Cooking at home is such a hassle from going grocery shopping for the ingredients to preparing it and cooking it. Theres also resources like gas, cooking oil, and utensils all added together make cooking when living alone a very expensive. Going to any other place where they serve food quickly is an advantage because there 's no wait and its cheaper. Fast food is always cheaper for one person. Fast food does raise health concerns. However, if careful, you can find some options on the menu of fast food restaurant that could be healthier. a salad or choosing a grilled chicken or fish or a low fat drink or also choosing a whole wheat bun instead of a regular bun you can also choose lean meats.
