Pollution of the oceans have been a big problem in the world, and it seems that these problems are not getting better. People keep talking about how we need to fix this problem, but no one seems to act on it. Ocean pollution is terrible for not just fish, but humans also. All this is also avoidable, the majority of the oceans pollution is man made. We are just hurting ourselves by doing this, but people continue to put stuff in the ocean. This is a slow process of constant oil the drips into the water, often from factories. This is the result of companies not seeing that oil containment is broken and leaking. This could also be done intentionally to dispose of excess oil. Dumping is the most common form of disposal. It is the disposal of hazardous wastes in oceans or any body of water from vessels, aircraft, platforms or other human made structures. 80 percent of all ocean pollution enters originally from the land. That is a very high number, imagine how clean the waters could be if we cut that in half. One source of dumping is by boat. They carry tons of waste into the middle of ocean, and just drop it in. They do have specific dump sites in the ocean, so instead of everything being contaminated its just those areas. But not everyone follows these rules, and due to currents they carry waste all around. People also do this on airplanes, they will fly over into the middle of the ocean and drop all of their materials.
