Our planet is suffering from severe pollution, which ranges from contaminated air, water and soil as well. Humans are doing nothing to reduce the amount of pollution that is harming our earth. To understand how pollution works first you must understand that there are different types of pollution. The most common types of pollution and the ones that I will be focusing on which are the ones doing the most harm to our planet are air pollution, water pollution, soil contamination and littering. In order to help out and reduce pollution in our planet people need to be more aware of what these problems are and about the severe damages that they are causing our planet. Before industrialization really jumped into place and had an effect on large cities, nature had its own way of cleaning up its own air and itself. Wind scattered gases, rain washed many substances and the rest dissolved into the ground; while plants absorbed carbon dioxide and made it into oxygen. With big cities growing more every time and with more towns that were becoming more industrialized a lot of more waste began to be released into the environment and the atmosphere and soon this was more than enough for nature to handle. In order to stop and reduce pollution people need to understand the damage that it is causing our environment and our planet as well. People need to be more aware of how they can help out and do their part in reducing these problems that are causing our planet to die slowly with people not even noticing it.
Air pollution is a type of pollution that can severely damage our environment as well as the earth’s atmosphere. Air pollution occurs all the time when the air contains many substances ...

Even though many people see littering being done they do not do anything to prevent this. One thing that may occur is that many of these wastes that are improperly disposed of finds its way to the ocean or other places. This is something that can be very dangerous for many aquatic creatures because they could think that it is food and this would cause them to choke on it and eventually die. A lot of people litter because they really have no idea of the damage that they are causing our environment. Another reason why people do this is because they are too lazy to dispose the materials into a proper trash can. Most of the litter that is being thrown on the ground eventually goes and finds its way into the sewers and goes into the oceans and lakes.
When we think of air pollution we think of the refineries in our cities and the exhaust coming from our cars mostly. In reality there are many more pollutants that we don't think about every day. The six most common air pollutants are; “Carbon monoxide, Nitrogen oxides, Sulphur oxides, Particulate matter, Volatile organic compounds, and Ground-level ozone (nitrogen oxide and Volatile organic compounds reaction)”(David Suzuki Foundation). The fact is people are dying from air pollution and we are doing nothing to make it better, in fact air pollution is getting worse.
The world in which we live in at the moment has become poisonous. It has been poisoned by the human species’ daily survival activities. Humans around the world have taken for granted the daily impact that we have on the natural world. It all boil down to each and every breath that we take. Each and every breath that we exhale releases poisonous chemicals into the atmosphere. Until when our existence becomes absent, the world will remain poisoned.
Since the beginning of human history, each new generation has been plagued with an issue unknown, or unsolved, by their predecessors. In the past century, American generations have had to face issues that did not even exist one hundred years prior. Issues, such as the Great Depression, both World Wars, racial equality, gender equality, rebellion against traditional values, and the AIDS epidemic. Each generation was defined by how well they, as a whole, handled the given situation. The current problem that bedevils the modern generation is sustainability and its effect on the environment. This issue has been festering since the dawn of industrialization, but only now have its effects truly threated the survival of humanity.
I’ve lived in many communities growing up and I have noticed that littering has been a big issue starting with kids that don’t know what they’re doing to parents who allow it. It is not only unattractive, but it ruins the environment. I use to live by a beach and noticed it can lead to water pollution. Also, the animals in the wildlife can be negatively affected. People do not want to live in a dirty areas because it doesn't look good.
Here is my another reason why we should stop pollution. We are killing each other! Do you know how many people die from pollution each year. 4.6 million!!!! We are causing death of are friends and family by littering. We are breathing in the toxin from this stuff. How much do you love your family? A lot right. Other people feel the same exact way about their loved ones at home. When they go outside they breath in air and guess what else. Toxin!. The people are dying and we need to stop.
Pollution occurs in many different forms such as, air, water, soil, radioactive, noise, heat/thermal and light. People from all around the world experience different levels and effects of air pollution. Millions of Americans live in areas where urban smog, particle pollution, and toxic pollutants are serious health concerns. If exposed to high enough levels of certain air pollutants one can experience irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat. Wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and breathing difficulties are other fatal effects caused from air pollution. Air pollution is a problem for everyone and can only be fixed if everyone were to work together to help prevent it as much as
Littering is the act of disposing of trash and unwanted materials improperly. The effects of littering are far more worse than some people think. Animals die, soil is less fertile, environments and habitats suffer, and quality of life decreases from litter. Not only can living things be harmed by litter; property and land is effected just as much. If a community or neighborhood has garbage on sidewalks, roads, or in yards of homes, property values of homes in the area can drop up to 7% (“Litter Prevention”, 6).
People often get very offended when you start talking about limiting their food choices. They claim it is their right to choose what they eat and to some degree it is and should always be but on the other hand that animal on their plate wasn’t given the right to choose whether they’d be there or not and if we looked each animal in the eye before they went to slaughter we would then truly realize that no animal wants to die and if we don’t need to eat animals to survive then shouldn’t we let that animal live a the life it deserves, one free from all human caused suffering. Doesn’t our environment also deserve to thrive as it once did? We see ever increasingly the man made atrocities, whether it be from oil, industrial, or any other factor.
Air pollution refers to the concentration of harmful chemicals that have been added to the atmosphere. Such as emission in the environment, usually from heavy traffic, power generated industry and coal smoke. Large amounts of these chemicals may be harmful and can impact public health (Lu et al., 2015).
Outdoor air pollution is definite as the statement of several materials called air pollutants into the atmosphere, in attentions that threaten the happiness of living organisms or disturb the function of the environment as a system important to human health damages in numerous ways. Air pol...
First, i will be telling you about littering. First, the litter could blow away and go in the ocean and hurt the fish. Next, people could step on the litter and trip, and break something in their body. Last, when people litter it could also hurt the animals that live in the parks like plastic six pack rings that hold Soda cans together they could choke small ducks. Those are some things about littering.
In 2007, the world consumed 5.3 billion tons of coal, 31.1 billion tons of oil, 2.92 trillion cubic meters of natural gas, and 65,000 tons of uranium. All of these energy needs could have been met with only 6,600 tons of thorium, an abundant, slightly radioactive element found in the Earth’s crust.
Air pollution is caused by many things such as car fumes, burning of fossil fuels,
Air pollution according to the Wikipedia << is the introduction of particulates, biological materials, or other harmful materials into the Earth’s atmosphere, possibly causing disease, death to humans, damage to other living organisms such as food crops, or the natural or built environment>>. Therefore, human being should be aware of the facts that the environment and all living creatures are dying. They need to understand the importance of natural items, the nature, etc…
Air pollution is defined as the presence of any substance in the atmosphere in such a concentration that it may or may tend to be injurious to humans, plants, property and to atmosphere itself. And the substance itself is called air pollutant.
