I am writing with the aim of letting you know about my training experience as a sous chef per your request, also with some recommendations and knowledge about training in the service industry. As we know, a training manager is responsible with ensuring that all the employees are well trained with the necessary skills and knowledge to increase their productivity in the job. Your employees are the most valuable assets of your business, and training them to the necessary skills is of high importance. There are many numerous ways and materials available to help your employees and train them to do their jobs better, because the better the service provider is, the better perspective customers will have of the services. That way you can guarantee a great service; a service guarantee is a promise to compensate customers if the service provided fails to meet established standards. The only thing is that sometimes it is very difficult to determine the best employee training methods and techniques. Some training techniques are more cost-effective than others, but you want to use the best options available for your employees so they can master various skills and learn different styles. The more trained and skilled the employees are, the more profits your business will garner.
First, It was a great experience and an honor to be part of the training program. In the first stage of my training process, having a classroom training environment where the employees could interact and share ideas was a great way to get familiarized with the job and what the company is about, this is a great way to start a training process. Computer-based training formats vary from the simplest program to a highly sophisticated program to virtual reality. Virtual reality is a training program that takes form of a simulation, which is a highly effective form of training; it is hands-on experience without the risks of actual performance. Simulators have been a successful training method for airlines and military pilots with critical flying skills required, as well to prepare them for emergency situations in a safe environment.
