Facebook has begun having negative impacts in the educational performances and the grades of these students. It is clear that many students do not have the ability of cognitively controlling their absorption of Facebook. This has adversely affected the personality and studying habits of the students (Boyd, 2014). Facebook has an effect that is harmful to the productivity of students and has been evident that it decreases their academic performances. Social media has become tough to ignore since there are numerous constant distractions and also new information being fed into the system. Most times, parents are not at home, and therefore, no individual is present in guiding these students when they access the online sites. The absence of parental guidance has led most teenagers that are vulnerable to numerous things to experience negative implications of social media which are early pregnancy. When they view advertisements even if they do not need that particular item, they will be bounded to buy the car. This means that whatever they see on the internet becomes routine and therefore, there is a growing tendency that teenagers may apply to it themselves whatever they encounter in these social networking
