Yemen
There are several countries that make up the world. Yemen intrigues several people with its rich history, interesting local activities, and unique culture. Yemen is a Middle Eastern country with a very interesting culture. They do things that are very rare to see here in the United States.
Firstly, Yemen’s history is very rich. From around 750 B.C., this country has been at war. They have fought almost every country several times in this time. They were at war with Africa, Britain, and Egypt. They calmed down around 1945, where they joined the United Nations. They quickly left and are no longer in the UN. They are now part of the United Arab Nations. This country’s leadership changed with every war, but mostly was a king the entire time. Although this country started as a Christian country, it is a Muslim Arabic nation presently.
Secondly, Yemen’s local activities are very interesting as well. From their religion to their daily lives they are intriguing. For example, they are not a modern culture. These people have little to no electricity and live in

They are a very simple culture, not as rushed as a business man in New York City. They sleep on mats in their mud houses and herd their goats in the early morning. About ninety percent of the population is Muslim. They practice their religion regularly and very closely. Since their religion includes several strict laws, they live in a very old society and setting. There is nothing modern about anything they do. Women may not leave their house without their husband or unless they are completely covered. They also do several activities outside of fishing and their goats. For example, they play soccer with their children. Also, women don’t have very many rights at all. They are the cooks and errand runners of the house hold. After the fall of the Roman Empire, no one imagined that the next great world power would emerge from Saudi Arabia. Especially, because ancient empires thought that the land was worthless, but they didn’t know that it had great trade routes. Trade brought them in connection with other civilizations and that’s how the city of Mecca, located in Saudi Arabia, became known. The city of Mecca was a mix of religious beliefs, they used to worship many gods and had their own rituals. The world of Islam took place in Mecca, where Muhammad was born in 570 CE.
One U.S. official said Yemen had "one of the most significant" al Qaeda organizational links in the world. Thousands of veterans of the Soviet-Afghan war live in Yemen and are capable of launching "uncoordinated or coordinated attacks," diplomatic sources told CNN in October.
The women and girls of this culture and religion will never have cut their hair, but wear it back in a bun. They wear plain fabric dresses reaching floor length, and wear a prayer in their hair indicating- white if married, black if single and no jewelry. As for the males and boys, dark colored suits, brim straw hats, long coats. They do not have mustaches and will grow beards after marriage.
It is bordered by Iraq and Jordan on the north, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates on the east, Oman and Yemen on the south. The Arabian Gulf Sea surrounded from the east and the Red Sea from the west. Saudi Arabia is a traditional monarchy. Al Saud dynasty is a royal family of the kingdom. The population of the kingdom was estimated to be 29,369,428 in 2014 - the 43rd largest in the world (Worldpopulationreview.com, 2014). Arabian Peninsula and Prophet Muhammad are two names which are inseparably linked. When we hear one, we will remember other .Muhammad was born in the Arabian Peninsula and grew up there and saw many difficulties there. He lost her father before ever seeing him then he lost his mother when he was about six and after that he lost his grandfather when he was a young child. After that his uncle Abu Talib was responsible for taking care of him. Because he Abu Talib was poor, Muhammad had to be a shepherd in the dry and burning deserts of Arabia. After he rose to prophet hood at age forty, he changed many things in the Arabia. Before Islam the situation of Arabians weren’t good. People lived in many tribes. The relations between tribes weren’t good. They had many wars and conflict. The situation for women was appalling and female infanticide was common. Women didn’t have any right to decide or do something and societies were patriarchal. Slavery and serfdom also were common. When Muhammad rose as prophet he changed many things. He removed slavery and serfdom, united the tribes and raised the status of women. He spread Islam in Arabia peninsula and other many places. ...Arabia is a petrostate. Oil dominates the national economy, international exports, and the nation’s politics. It has greatly shaped what the kingdom is today. Having started out as somewhat of a tourist economy, the kingdom has become a world, monetary power. From their massive amounts of oil and extremely cheap production, the country has been able to gain large amounts of affluence and political power. With its large abundance of oil, the country has been able to profit immensely on sales and spur diplomatic outcomes to their benefit due to the great need of the resource. Without the discovery oil, Saudi Arabia would be of little importance in the modern world, having the Grand Mosque be the extent of its importance. But because of its discovery of oil, Saudi Arabia became of international importance, coming to be one of the greatest assets to world superpowers.
Saudi Arabia is an average sized country, roughly one-fifth the size of the United States, in the Middle East. The population is roughly twenty-seven million people. It is the birth place of the Islamic religion, which is Saudi Arabia’s main religion. Most of the country is desert and they have a dry hot climate. Saudi Arabia’s main export is oil. According to the article “U.S. Relations with Saudi Arabia.” Saudi Arabia gives the United States over one million barrels of oil every day. Although Saudi Arabia has a great economy they have very many conflicts within the county. In one instance, a person not from Saudi Arabia gouged out another man’s eye with a set of jumper cables at a gas station. While he was in prison he was given the opportunity to pay the man’s medical bills which was twenty-five thousand dollars. Instead his punishment was the old saying of “an eye for an eye”, so the government ordered for his eye to be gouged out and he had to pay for the man’s medical bills (“Saudi Arabia Court…”). We as a nation should care about Saudi Arabia because their foreign workers are being mistreated, domestic abuse is very high, and women have little to no rights in Saudi Arabia.
Qatar is a small, petroleum-rich state with immense natural gas reserves. The state religion is Islam, and the greater part of Qatar's residents are Sunni Muslims. The actual population of the country is approximately 600,000, of whom an estimated 150,000 are citizens. The remaining 450,000 non-citizens are mostly foreign workers and their families who come from other Arab countries and South Asia. The rights and state benefits afforded to Qatari citizens such as free health care and education are not extended to these noncitizens.
Being Saudi Arabian is to be faithful and authentic to one important religious symbol of Islam which is being believer of Allah but no one else and being the believer that Mohammed is the prophet of Allah, which is considered very essential aspect of the culture. Saudi Arabians are the people who have strong affiliation and loyalty to the authentic, generous, wise Arab tribes who settled in the Arabian Peninsula many years ago. In addition, being Saudi Arabian represents being loyal to the country that fully contributed to providing free healthcare, education, and public services for the citizens. Saudi Arabians are the people who care and help others when they face life-threatening disasters. Saudi Arabia has many symbols that represent them.
It is located in south Saudi Arabia, and it is a medium city. Also, it has a lot of things make people visit it. For instance, it has a nice weather. The weather in the summer is so wonderful. It is cool and it is fog and run because Abha is on a mountain. In addition, in the winter it has cold weather, cloudy and run. This weather makes people come to enjoy in Abha because they want a nice weather. Another example of visiting Abha is Muftah Theater. It is the only place in Saudi Arabia for showing any type of arts. In this place, each year has events schedule. Some of these events are lyrical, and some of them are the comedy. Moreover, it has parts for the painters and the authors. Another illustration of going to Abha is farming and local food. It has valid soil, and people who live in it are the farmer. Therefore, they grow a lot of fruits such as Pomegranates, peaches, apples municipal land, figs and grapes. Furthermore, Abha has some tradition local food like Arakh, Masob and Asidah, and this food come from neutral such as honey, dates, flour, milk and butter. This kind of tradition can any person find it in Abha. In sum, these are some things can anyone enjoy it if they want to go to
