I would love to be given the opportunity to teach kindergarten. So, I have designed my classroom to fit the kindergarten needs. I have chosen several different centers that I feel should be in the classroom that helps promote play and learning. Children should be able to move in the classroom freely. By choosing the centers that I have picked the students will be able to gain a better understanding and learning experience.

Learning Centers:
Dramatic Play-
Play is so very vital to students. It helps them with social and even emotional skills. It also helps with reading, writing, math just to name some areas. It lets them use the imagination and think outside the box. This center will also be close to the reading center since it can be done quietly. Nature can be brought in so that the students could paint things or even use different leaves and use them as stamps.

Literacy Center-
This is a quiet place in the classroom. When reading students need a quiet place to go to so that they can understand the book. This center will have pillows on the floor, matts, and even a couch for them the sit or even lay on. It will have a home like feel to it as well. The books will be at their level on a bookshelf. Also, this center will be available to the students at any time once they have finished their work or if they just need some quiet time.

Math Center-
Math is something that is very important, and we use it everyday living. In the math center, there will be activities for the students to do. They will be able to get the basic concepts of adding, subtracting. Also, in this center, they will be able to interact with other students. They will be able to help each other.
