Even when I was a little kid clueless about the world I had always seen animals to be one of us. They are creatures with a beating heart, blood running through their veins and a soul inside of them. So it is only right to treat them with respect. But the things that I saw when I was only eight years old horrified me. I saw a dog with ropes around its neck hanging while it was being drowned in a dirty canal by some guy. He was not able to kill the dog so he stopped and let it go. As I saw the dog struggling to stand and run away, I felt like my heart was being crushed into pieces. The only thing I wanted to do was to help save it and all the animals that needs saving. I have always muddled on what to take in college. But recently I realized that I want to be a veterinarian because of my cat Arya. He is the most precious thing to me because he is the one who could always warm my heart up. The thought of him tortured by pain makes me sorrowful. Now I have decided to take up veterinary medicine in college and do what I have always wanted to do 10 years ago. I know achieving my goal would be a long rigorous process. It requires a lot of sleepless nights of studying but I am determined to be a veterinarian. …show more content…

I want to work with pets and farm animals as a practice for my bigger plans. Travelling around the Philippines to cure and save animals would be my ultimate dream. The feeling of giving birth to any animal in the world would be the most magical moment I would ever experience.
