She plans to go into Veterinary Technician so we both planned that I would open a Veterinary Hospital and she would be one of my head Vet Technicians. Then there is my mother, she is the one who has the backbone and the one who drives me to try my hardest and prioritize my life. She pushes me to save all my money in order to succeed for my career and try my hardest to not live in debt. Further influences that I have had throughout my life would be the recent job that I took at a Veterinary Hospital where I walk and clean up after the hospitalized pets and pets that are boarding. Besides doing the lower work I get to sit in on surgery and restrain pets during their vaccinations and nail trims.
As a veterinarian one has many tasks and responsibilities. They dont only care for the health of animals but,for the health of humans as well. A veterinarian has to make sure that our ,“food”, animals have no diseases or problems. if the veterinarian doesnt check the animal well and it is consumed by a human the responsibility falls not only on the farmer but on the veterinarian as well for not making sure that the animal wasnt clear from viruses and diseases. “The veterinarian also has to fight animal-borne diseases and help foster healthier relationships between people and aminal companionships”.
Veterinarians treat animal health problems. They work to prevent, control, and cure animal diseases. They work with all types of animals and owners. Veterinarians are unquestionably important to the community and are highly respected. Some veterinarians are meat inspectors at food processing plants.
I will be present in observing and aiding an animal in need of medical assistance. I will fortunately be there to witness an animal walking on “all fours” along the path to their successful recovery. As a veterinary technician my purpose will be to allow the patient to feel and look healthy. I would love to see the caregivers’ faces change from concerned to relieved and thankful. I realize as a veterinary technician I will have to accept the good moments along with the bad.

A Veterinarian tends to the healthcare needs of animals including a wide range of animals, depending on what size animals you choose to work with. If I were to become a veterinarian, I would be able to help so many animals by giving them things like medicine or performing a life saving surgery. In order to become a veterinarian you have to earn a doctor of veterinary medicine degree and also a bachelors degree would help my employment but is not actually necessary to become a vet. I am also required to take and pass the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam in order to receive a mandatory license. In order to become a successful veterinarian you have to have a passion for animals, you need good decision making skills to decide what treatments you need, and good interpersonal skills to communicate with the owner and staff etc, and manual dexterity and strong problem solving skills.
Before you can become a vet you also need to have volunteering, which you would volunteer helping with animals which you could do at a vet clinic or at an animal shelter. After you are done with the classes you need to take a Graduate record examinations. Graduate record examinations are what you need to show that you know what you learned in those classes. You are also going to need letters of recommendations from people who really know you to write about you and tell the school who you really are. In conclusion the article says there’s a lot of work that needs to be done but if you love animals enough anybody can do it.
This is why I chose being a vet as my future career. Also veterinarians work to improve the health of household pets, as well as animals in laboratories, on farms and in zoos. They're skilled at treating and diagnosing dysfunctions and diseases in such animals, which may include using preventative measures, surgery and sophisticated technology. They also spend a great deal of their time interacting with the animals, and pet owners, offering advice on feeding, grooming and breeding. Also because there’s a lot of history behind this career and history is and always will be my favorite subject.

Most people see veterinarians as being doctors of animals and they are there to save animals and help them when they are sick and that is what veterinarians are for but sometimes I wish people could really see what veterinarians go through in a day. As I have past experience in the field of veterinary medicine, I was fortunate enough to see behind the scenes. When I was working one of the first things the boss will tell you is to not show emotion in front of the patient’s owner, and that’s something very hard to control. Sometimes are easier then others to hold back the tears but I know there’s days that the bathroom is just a place to go cry for a good two minutes and then have to pull yourself back together again. And having emotions is something that can never be resolved.
