The human race is biologically designed to be drawn to other people so that we can have intimate relationships. People get married every single day all over the world. Sometimes those relationships work and sometimes they do not. People start out so in love and they feel like they can make it through anything that is thrown their way. So then why do these relationships not work? There are many reasons that relationships not work but there are a few that stick out more than others. Three causes of relationships failing are lies, social media, and unrealistic expectations. Relationships need to be built on a foundation of honesty and trust so that couples have the greatest chance of survival. Unfortunately, there are times when the trust is broken because one or both of the people in the relationship have either began lying or they have been lying since the beginning. Social media can have a negative impact on relationships for many different reasons. There are many people that have an issue arise with their partner and blast all of their problems on social media for the world to see. When this happens it is impossible for a couple to have any sort of dispute without friends and family chiming in. No matter how good your relationships is, disputes and fights will happen but they need to be resolved and privacy needs to be a priority. Another reason that social media can cause relationships to fail is because people can easily reconnect with people from their past much more easily than they could in the past. They may have had a high school sweetheart that they thought was the love of their life and maybe they lost touch in college. They may end up reconnecting ten or twenty years later on social media and they might choose to give up on their current relationship because of the
