Wellness Assessment Environmental and intellectual wellness were my highest ranked scores and my lowest ranked score was in the occupational domain. Through observing the other domains of wellness I believe that this makes perfect sense in relation to my lifestyle and myself as a whole. The highest scores are due to my interest and satisfaction in these areas. Both environmental and intellectual wellness had factors which I voluntarily partake in my daily life. The lowest ranked score is due to an overall lack of interest and comfort. My wellness scores do not come as a surprise to me and solely offer different viewpoints of what I think properly describes my current health. The highest score was in environmental wellness. I am extremely aware of the benefits that being environmentally conscious will have on our lives and the lives of the future. This …show more content…
As a generalization of all of the areas of wellness. There are things which I will have to gradually continue working on like being more social and getting rid of fear. Contrastingly there are some suggestions I found that I already do which I can increase the amount of frequency. Doing exercise even a small walk can help you destress by putting your thoughts elsewhere (Chaperon, 2013). I have done this to help which both anxiety and my general happiness and it has proven to be accurate. In conclusion for my health to reach its full potential according to the wellness assessment a lot more confidence with the additional of self-finding and putting myself out there would create excellent overall wellness for myself References Mikkonen, J. & Raphael, D. Wellness provides the mind, body, feelings, and spiritual well-being individuals gain in their daily lifestyle. When most individuals in society hear the phrase wellness they assume it is referring to physical wellness. Which is true, but did society know that physical wellness is part of the seven wellnesses that are broken down into extension? Which are known for physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, and occupational wellnesses. These seven wellnesses help provide ways for individual to do daily and guide individuals to maintain a good health from inside and out.
This assessment was extremely eye opening and reflective. I had scores high and low in places where they were either expected or unpredictable. First off, I am going to talk about my highest scores that I acquired. Adopting Lifelong Learning was a 67 and Discovering Self-Motivation was a 78. I was not surprised about Adopting Lifelong Learning at all. I grew up quite quickly while jumping from home to home. I had to teach myself a substantial amount of information on my own while I grew up and this knowledge has stuck with me. I think one way to improve this topic would to be to try to learn among with other than trying to do it by myself. I feel like I learn better on my own, but I could benefit from learning more from other people or things,

Wellness is imperative to a healthy life. Sometimes, people do not really consider what makes up wellness, they simply think of it as being “well”. Wellness may be a state of being “well”, however, it incorporates different areas such as nutrition, health, safety, nurturing, and emotional stability. People must be healthy in all of these areas in order to achieve wellness. This is not an easy task for an adult, but definitely not for children.

It can be gleaned from the table that hr1 (Body Mass Index) with a r-value of -0.197 was found to be negatively correlated to Intellectual Wellness, while hr3 (Flexibility fitness) with a computed r-value of 0.178 was found to be correlated with Intellectual Wellness, both at .05 level of significance. This implies that if a person has a high Body Mass Index, correspondingly, the level of his/her mental wellness becomes low and if a person’s flexibility fitness is good, then correspondingly, his mental wellness becomes
My score for most of the sections is eight or nine out of ten. My score for Self-confidence; Positive Attitude and Outlook; Emotional Intelligence; Motivating People to Deliver the Vision; Being a Good Role Model; Providing Support and Stimulation are excellent and very high. I am very happy with these results, and I believe they truly reflect on my character and personality. I am a very hard working person and have a lot of sincere feeling for coworkers, I work with
Honestly the score was higher than expected and rather stressful just knowing. In a strange way this last statement should be taken as a joke. After reading the article, Anatomy of an Illness as Perceived by the Patient, humor will have to become a priority in my life. The relationship I have with my son's father will not improve any time soon. I need to develop stronger coping skills that do not allow his troubles affect or effect us, such as detachment.
When you hear the phrase “Personal Wellness,” what do you think of? Personally when I heard the name of this class I thought I was going to be learning about physical health. The truth is you learn about 8 different wellnesses in further depth, these include physical, mental, social, spiritual, intellectual, environment, occupational, and financial. While going through this class and applying it too my life, I have figured out that every single one of these wellnesses relates to another. It was surprising how much of the information I was able to apply to my life!
The CSI results showed that I only scored a three on a “Desire to finish college”. This report leaves out the person themselves, it does not take into account their character, personality or down right determination as a human being. I also scored low on “Study habits” this is accurate; I struggle with studying. I have always been one to retain information very well, so studying is not always necessary for me. I scored high on “Mathematics and Sociability” both of which I agree with; I have always had been successful in Mathematics. It comes very naturally to me whereas some people struggle in this area. I also feel like I’m a very sociable person because I always make friends, I feel as if I have an infectious personality where people want to be around me. To sum up my whole CSI I report from the scores, I need to work harder towards wanting to finish my degree. My study habits have to change if I want to be successful in college, I plan on figuring out ways to help better myself in this
Recorded instances of social anxiety date back to 400A B.C. in which Hippocrates conceptualized it, but it didn’t surface again until the 1900s (about health).
The fourth category seeks first to understand I scored the lowest with a total of only three. I’m known for not caring for others feelings and just telling you what comes to my mind. I have never been the nice friend, but always the friend who tells you the truth. I really need to work on that because they are a lot of sensitive people in the world. When I get into a disagreement with others I will ignore their viewpoint. I only care if you understand my side of the story, and that’s something I really need to work on. As no one in the world is always right, so I need to take in consideration others viewpoints.
The definition of Wellness has been found to be a statement of optimum health synergized with physical and mental health. Taking inventory of my physical and mental health relating to the assessments given has shown me how much I have compromised my health. The stress reactions inventory led me to understand that I have been affected and impacted on a greater level than I thought from my work place all due to my own possible codependency. When I say codependency, there are areas of myself I had begun to self- actualize finding that I may have over extended concerning my work due to the need to be needed. Mental challenges I have experienced result from the symptoms of counselor impairment, but also areas I felt I had
Congratulations on your exceptional EQ! If you scored in this range, there is a slight caveat however. You are either extremely high in emotional intelligence or extremely low. How is this possible? These results may reflect your high level of self-knowledge or a lack of it since you must be self-aware to assess yourself accurately. For this reason, self-awareness is the foundational competency of emotional intelligence. You may want to seek clarification from a peer, co-worker or family member to validate how they feel you respond emotionally when you are under pressure. You’ve either made it to the top or have a long way to go.
The second dimension of wellness is emotional wellness, which has a lot to do with you ability to recognize your own thoughts and feelings and deal with them in a healthy way. There are a lot of ways to do this, such as: understanding and sharing your thoughts and feelings with yourself and those around you, and being confident in your self and the decisions you make. Some well known people who I believe have attained emotional wellness include Ellen DeGeneres and Doctor Phil.
