In other words, society claims that by obtaining this degree, one is able to live a fulfilling and prosperous life. Apart from society, the Media also plays a contributing role in the effect college has on Americans. They equally consider higher level education a requirement and therefore, one must earn it. There is no point in anyone going to college if they are not rest assured that there are long term benefits in the end. For example, higher levels jobs in America such as being doctors, lawyers and entrepreneurs requires some sort of a college degree.
