Many students in schools have the ability to use their cell phone in class. But many students have admitted using their cell phones to cheat in class. 78% of teens from ages 12 to 17, that increases their time of using it in class. Although cell phones aren't allowed in some schools, I think they should be banned with the schools that do allow them. Cell phones should not be allowed in school, but their are important rules to it. Some schools allow cell phones, they should be banned because it can get distracting, people may use it to cheat, and some kids can be left out. One reason to ban cell phones is that teens can use cell phones to cheat on tests. Many teens can admit that they have cheated on tests and even more can admit that they used their cellphones to do so. About ⅓ of teens have had used their cellphones in school to cheat. Given the unquestionable results regarding the use of cell phones by students in school there should not be a ban on the cell phones in schools. This is because students can learn to enhance their learning from the technology such as the cell phone. Students will also become more independent in their work and more motivated to learn.
