Why We Shouldn T Cell Phones Be Aloud In School

In school many kids have use of cell phones but teachers don't allow them because they're to distracting I think teachers focus too much on the negatives and pay no attention to the positives. Most schools allow students to have cell phones for safety a reaction to the Littleton, Colorado, high school shooting incident of 1999. Apart from emergency situations, most schools don't officially allow students to use cell phones during class time. However, when the teacher is busy helping out another student or writing on the board, out come the phones as students send instant messages to friends, listen to music, or watch videos on the Internet. Although cell phones may cause disruptions and increase cheating they should be aloud in school because they can be used as reminders, to look up words they don't know, and it provides an increased sense of safety.

Personally I forget to do assignments and finish projects without reminders to remind me that i need to do them.
