The Attack On Pearl Harbor

Early Sunday morning December 7, 1941 the empire of Japan launched a surprise attack on American soil at Pearl Harbor. A date that will forever be remembered through history as the facts speak for themselves. The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military attack that was carried out by the imperial Japanese Navy against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack was the result in the leading of the United States as a nation to enter World War II. The intention Japan purposely planned this action was because the United States was an interference due to the fact that the United States had an important political and economic interest in east Asia. The Japanese empire did not want for any reason for the United States to intervene in any military action the empire of Japan was planning in Southeast Asia against overseas territories including the United States. Although Japan was doing what they as an empire believed to be right does not mean it was just to the defenders. Japan was upset because the United States cut off oil shipment and other raw materials. Japan viewed these actions as a threat of survival for their nation. The leaders of japan though the solution or to counteract with taking the resource rich territories in Southeast Asia that the United States controlled. Which would most likely result in war between the two nations. The only problem japan faced was the danger and intimidation by the United States Pacific fleet based on Pearl Harbor. The commander then idealized to take out the U.S fleet with a surprise attack. Japanese carrier piolets trained for the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor.
