Over the course of years since the storming of the Bastille in 1789, historians have been disagreeing over the origins of the French Revolution, and it is still regarded as a subject of heated debate till this very day. The question we must ask ourselves, of course, is how did such a dramatic event that was to have such tremendous impacts on the late 18th and 19th century European world come into being?
