This 3 advertising campaigns effectively promotes the influenza vaccination by creating people to follow and take action esspacially for children. The porpuse of this vaccination is to quit spreading the desiese, and makes sure that others who hasn't taken the shot, would not affect you in any type of way.

In today’s world, where about every person has access to a television, a car, and, a cell phone, it is easy to relay information. Companies and organizations whose main goal is awareness take advantage of this by using it to relay their own informative, and most the time persuasive, message. They can do this in many different forms but most the time they are categorized as advertisement attempting to persuade you into thinking you need the product. As we see advertisements every day they tend to get boring and unappealing, but there are two that I believe do an outstanding job at persuading. People would find themselves not buying their products because of their numerous advertisements. This is what you call the boomerang effect 3. Like a boomerang, you throw it for it to only turn around and hoping that it comes back to you. The throwing action shows the intentions and hope of advertisements but the turnaround represents the negative results. The negative results were that consumers would try to seek alternative solutions to their problems rather than listening to the advertisements through their media outlets. Having less people participating into the prescription drug market, the company’s potential in profit also decreases 3. The greater the response, the greater chance that the company is losing their audience. Over the past century, medical markets have significantly increased because of direct-to-consumer advertising. Pharmaceutical advertisements have a psychological effect on consumers by using persuasive techniques in their ad campaigns. When consumers watch drug commercials on the television and they hear the symptoms described, they are able to identify with the disorder or illness the commercial is talking about. When people are able to identify that something is “wrong” with them, it gives them peace of mind and ease because they are able to normalize a problem. When people are able to diagnose a problem with the symptoms that are described in the ad campaigns, they are likely to consult their doctor. Many people self-diagnose their problems and present the solution they think will work to their doctor. It has become almost normal that individuals are doing the doctor’s job
In the article, “Can Music Save Your Life?,” Mark Edmundson discusses the different impact music can have on one’s life. He starts off the article with the use of rhetorical questions about how music affects one and a personal example of a song that impacted his life. Edmundson then describes how his music choices affected his attitude and moodiness with specific examples about how certain negative song choices could explain and/or justify his negative emotions or vice-versa. Later, he mentions how music can help one better understand life and it’s meaning if one would deeply listen to the music. He uses well-known philosophers and their views on music to portray how music can have both a positive and negative effect. Afterward, he transitions to some of the current impacts of music on the young adults in the 21st century.

They want people to believe that positive messages can be spread through deceptive marketing. But, positive pestering power is absolutely oxymoronic, as noted in Benedy, because it is a form of bargaining for these corporations so that the end result is the same - profit. The corporations want to sell their products and line their pockets. Suggesting that they can accomplish this in a positive way by also persuading kids “to eat healthy, participate in sport, and read books” (Benedy) is merely a bargain that purposes it is ethically acceptable to market to children so long as the child is persuaded into positive behaviors in the process. It seems absurd that parents or governing agencies would allow for such a trade-off. Even if we concede to the evidence touted in Brooks-Gunn that indicates positive social change can result from ads promoting awareness, we still have to evaluate the danger of allowing corporations to decide what is valued as positive social change and whether we can trust ads promoting social changes when the only goal from the marketers is to make money. From a standpoint of social behavior, it can be encouraging to know that children can be influenced into more positive lifestyle habits, since there does not seem to be ethical conflicts with ads that pester kids to promote

When people take more of the medicine it doesn’t make them feel better it actually makes them feel more sick” (Zheng). Some people may say that the world needs to make more medical advancements so there will be fewer deaths, suffering and disease, however this is not true because the medical advancements we have made has saved lives. However, this is wrong because although medical advancements has saved lives, many people still die each year from diseases that have no cure.
