Cigarette smoking is a dangerous habit that has taken over the nation for a long time. It causes severe health impairments to the smoker and the secondhand smoker. It also wastes a lot of money for the smoker that could be used in a better way. Smoking cigarettes is a danger to the smoker and his peers as well as a costly habit.
Cigarette smoking causes many health problems that may lead to death. Cigarettes contain more than 4000 chemical compounds and at least 400 toxic substances (Smocking Health Risks). It has chemicals that were not meant to be ingested by the body. When cigarette smoke is inhaled, it burns at 700°C at the tip and around 60°C in the core. This heat breaks down the tobacco to produce various toxins (Smocking Health Risks). These toxins then absorb into the body when the cigarette is smoked.
