The Biography of Sir Isaac Newton Sir Isaac Newton is a man who had a major impact on the scientific community and had also set a path for the future generations in the community. His multiple theories are quite notable. However, one of Newton's most notable theories was the theory of gravity, which had inspired him after sitting under an apple tree. Newton is a man who was to be a farmer, like his parents, but chose study as he had found farming something he disliked. He is also a mathematician, physicist, astronomer, and philosopher. This paper discusses Sir Isaac Newton's childhood, education, discoveries, and his contributions to the scientific community.

He discovered gravity when he was sitting under an apple tree when an apple fell off and hit his head. When this apple had fallen on his head, this sparked multiple theories including movement, acceleration, and movement. However, the apple falling on his head is only a legend, but one of the most famous and credible myths out in today's modern world. His theory on movement was that a stationary object with no force applied to it would never move and that a moving object with no force applied to it would never stop. His theory on acceleration was the more force an object has, the more the object speeds up. His theory on altitude was that movement an object makes it has an equal but yet an opposite reaction. All of Newton's theories have been inspired by Galileo, an Italian physicist, astronomer, engineer, and mathematician. In conclusion, Newton is a man who changed the world for the future generations to come and also is an inventor of items we still use …show more content…

Even though there are other scientists who have done greater things than Newton, those ideas were sparked by him and his mentor, Galileo. Newton's accomplishment affected society because his theories he invented set out the basic principles of physics and are still used to this day. Newton had many motivators other than the well-known physicist Galileo. Many of his motivators were physicists or astronomers and mathematicians as well. They include Copernicus, a man who theorized the heliocentric solar system, identifying the sun, is the centre of the solar system. Another man was Descartes, a man who is simply known as the father of modern philosophy, for estimating when and how humans had come into existence. Newton's personal convictions used to be Christian based, but he abandoned it after stating the Messiah was nowhere near divine and had also denied the existence of the Holy Trinity, and write he was to chosen by God to explain to man his religious views and in what his context, are sins. He also believed he was chosen by God because he was born three months premature, and was expected not to survive, as he could fit in a quart-sized pot. In conclusion, Newton had many motivators, personal convictions, and multiple affects on
