Video Games have been one of the main sources of entertainment throughout the world for quite a while now just likes sports. A sport is defined as a “activity involving physical motion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.” Video games can be defined as, “virtual reality where one acquires skills and competes against others in front of a TV or computer monitor.” Many people have argued whether video gaming can be considered a sport. However, with the technology advancing more and more every year, video gaming will require more skills and is indisputably a sport! Video games can require just as much skill as any sport. Not everyone can be good at video games just as not everyone can be good at sports. Each require player to have a certain set of skills or to learn to acquire these skills. Video games are a goal-driven experience, some people believe that kids spend too much time play playing video games and this affects the time spent doing homework, other physical activities. Playing video games can be time consuming but it does in fact promote better social activity and teamwork.
