Schlotzsky's Deli Changed My Life

One of the most valuable working experiences I have had was at Schlotzsky's Deli. I have learned many important skills that will last throughout my life. These skills could carry over into any career that I may choose to pursue. The most valuable skills of working at Schlotzsky's Deli would include people skills, managing time, and supervising skills.

When working at Schlotzsky's Deli people skills were very important. Between the employees and the customers I was exposed to many different types of personalities. When I first started I was working with a lot of my friends, so I knew we would all get along. After a while we hired new employees to occupy positions open, they had completely different personalities that I needed to adjust too. Working at Schlotzsky's Deli was a good learning experience for me. Everything that I have learned or problems I have had to deal with will help me throughout my life. Everyone should look back at all working experiences they've had, and find what they've learned from them.
